Designer Bill Stumpf, whose relationship with Herman Miller spans more than 20 years, has been named a finalist in the prestigious National Design Awards program, which honors the best in American design.
Stumpf's design work for Herman Miller includes the Aeron chair and the Ethospace office system, among other groundbreaking products.
The National Design Awards were introduced in 1997 by the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Results will be announced this fall.
