Herman Miller for Healthcare will sponsor a series of teleconferences this year dedicated to sharing knowledge about sustainable design and its evolving presence in healthcare facilities. The series, hosted by Hospitals for a Healthy Environments (H2E), will focus on green building design, construction, and operations.
The first teleconference of the series will occur Friday, January 5, at 1 p.m., EST. Architect and Green Guide to Health Care Project Manager Adele Houghton will lead the 60-minute session entitled "Introduction to the Green Guide for Healthcare." She will provide an overview of fundamental concepts that define a green health care facility with specific case studies from Green Guide pilot projects.

She adds, "Sharing knowledge about creating healthy environments, particularly within a healthcare setting, is just the right thing to do."
