Herman Miller to be Featured on the Sundance Channel

Herman Miller will be highlighted in the Sundance channel's series, "Big Ideas for a Small Planet," in an episode titled "FURNISH," airing on May 29th at 9:00pm EST. The program discusses the impact furniture has on the planet and presents three creative companies that are making positive changes to improve their environmental footprint. Also featured are Scrapile and MIO Design.

Gabe Wing and Scott Charon, of Herman Miller's Design for the Environment team, discuss in detail the company's comprehensive design process by walking viewers through the award winning Mirra chair's conception, to its design, through the manufacturing process. Paul Murray, Herman Miller's Director of Environmental Health and Safety, is also interviewed regarding the company's comprehensive sustainability program.

Viewers are also toured through Herman Miller's Greenhouse, one of Herman Miller's eleven facilities that are Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified.
