Herman Miller for Healthcare will award eight scholarships that will encourage architecture and design students and recent architecture and design graduates to attend the annual Healthcare Design conference, November 3-6, 2007.
The event will be staged at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Dallas.
Those selected for the scholarship will receive up to $1,000 for registration fees, air travel and hotel room costs.
Healthcare Design 07 is one of the industry's largest conferences, featuring evidence-based design seminars, workshops, and facility tours.
The Center for Health Design has partnered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Academy of Architecture for Health for the first time to develop this year's program.
Applications must be received by August 6, 2007.
The scholarship program is part of Herman Miller's ongoing commitment to excellence in healthcare architecture and support of the next generation of architects.
