Community Storage Solutions
Meridian lateral files are ideal for centralized, high-volume filing areas that need to be readily accessible to anyone in a community of work. With their architectural scale, they can divide space, define walkways, and set boundaries.

Modular Advantage
Stacking up. To make a configuration, each lateral filing module is secured to another as high and wide as you need, without the restriction of an enclosing case.

Adapting to change. To rescale or repurpose, switch out modules or make them stack higher, unstack, or reverse; removable mechanical fasteners make it easy to reconfigure files on site.

Large selection. There are 19 different file modules to choose from; available 30, 36, and 42 inches wide and 18 and 20 inches deep.

Extra capacity. For added value, the 20-inch-deep file expands front-to-back filing capacity by 18 percent over an 18-inch-deep file.

Premium Quality
Full-frame steel construction. Keeps files rigid.

Inner drawer front and double-wall drawer construction. For strength and durability.

Full-extension steel ball-bearing slides. Standard on all drawers, so it's easy to retrieve files, even at the back.

Positive interlock. For safety, only one drawer can be opened at a time.

Customized locking: Drawers can lock individually or in any configuration for any security need.

Aesthetics
Refined design. Meridian blends beautifully throughout a workplace.

Material choices. To achieve the right look and complement other furniture, there's a palette of more than 75 colors; smooth or textured steel; multiple veneers; several pull, top, and edge styles.

The right height. With several top and base heights to choose from, a lateral file can be the exact height to work with architecture, fit under a work surface, or align with adjoining components.

Complementary pulls: Meridian's Teneo pull complements Teneo storage furniture products; Meridian's Standard pull coordinates with the Tu filing and storage W-pull; Meridian's Arc pull coordinates with Tu's Q-pull.

Sustainable Design
Strict standards. Meridian products adhere to the McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC) Cradle-to-Cradle protocol.

Certified. MBDC Silver certification is pending for all Meridian products. Meridian is GREENGUARD certified and can contribute to LEED certification.

Recyclable. Cases are 100 percent recyclable steel.

Long life. Lateral files are strong and durable; modules in a configuration can be replaced so that when needs change, you don't need to replace an entire unit.

A Solution for Every Need
Comprehensive choice. Herman Miller's lines of filing and storage--Meridian filing and storage, Tu filing and storage, and Teneo storage furniture--provide complete and coordinated choices. Each has its own specialty: Meridian in community space, Tu in individual space, and Teneo in group space.
