Design Story
With the Aside chair, designer Mark Goetz challenges preconceptions about side chairs. He proved that it really is possible to make a luxurious, good looking, and durable side chair that's priced less than most competitive models.
Goetz reasoned that people in workstations, meetings, collaborative spaces, and reception areas all deserve a comfortable seat--whether they stay for seconds or hours. So he went for supportive contours, a high and wide back, and a double-thick seat cushion. And he put them in a stylish profile that turns heads. |
