Herman Miller Achieves Sixth Consecutive Appearance on Information Week 500

September 19, 2008

Herman Miller, Inc. has been recognized by Information Week for the sixth consecutive year as one of the country's most technologically advanced companies in the manufacturing industry. The company placed 21st among ranked manufacturers.

The Information Week 500 was launched in 1988 to identify and honor the nation's most progressive users of information technology. Companies must earn at least $500 million in annual revenue to participate in the review process.

Candidates also are asked to complete a detailed application that examines key IT strategies. The responses are evaluated, weighted, and combined into a total score, serving as the basis for the ranking.

Additional details about the Information Week 500 may be viewed in the publication's September 15, 2008, issue or online at: www.informationweek.com/iw500
