    With only a few components, you can easily create functional, handsome, low-cost individual workstations to fit executives, managers, or team members. The line includes a variety of desks (freestanding or attached) and credenzas, desk-mounted flipper door units and tackable screens, and attaching returns, bridges, and peninsulas.

    Desk components are modular and ship fully assembled, simplifying specification, ordering, and installation. Desks can be freestanding or attached to other 5000 Series components. Components can be wrapped in systems panels for power and data delivery, enclosure, and privacy.

  • Quality engineering and compatible dimensions ensure components work together seamlessly. Structural components are made of 18- and 22-gauge steel for a long, low-maintenance life.

    Being cost-conscious shouldn't mean having to live in dull, drab offices. With so many finish, fabric, and laminate colors, as well as natural or recut veneer options, 5000 Series furniture helps you create an environment that looks and feels fresh and attractive. Complements just about any office interior and status level.

  • Tops can be laminate or veneer; fronts can be textured or smooth steel or veneer. Five pull styles match other selected Herman Miller fronts, including Meridian filing and storage.

  • Earth-Friendly

    The 5000 Series is made of 54% recycled material and is 51% recyclable at the end of its useful life. Steel components are 100% recyclable.

    Most metal components have a powder-coat paint finish, which means no volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

  • Wood content in work surface substrates is comprised of more than 90% reclaimed wood, as certified by Scientific Certification Systems. This wood content is made primarily of sawdust generated by other wood process operations.

    All veneers are purchased from suppliers practicing sustainable forestry techniques. Approximately 60-80% of veneers are derived from domestically grown woods, notably cherry.
