Just 36 inches wide and 10 inches high (desk mounted); doesn't obstruct your view or take up surface space.
Storage
Mix or match. On a Stoa rail, you can have two trays, two drawers, or one of each. Trays and drawer can also be stacked and used freestanding. Trays and drawers attach vertically to each other with spring clips
Metal paper tray and drawer unit attaches to a Stoa rail, systems tool rail, or rail tile. Made of powder-coated steel, it has a cutout for cord management.
Tray/drawer top fits over a tray or drawer to create enclosed storage.
Display
Shelf. Aluminum shelf keeps small items easily accessible. It includes a cutout for a cord catch.
Tackboard/mirror. One side is a felt tackboard, the other is a glass mirror that can also be used as a marker board with dry erase markers. A range of felt colors is available so you can create the look you want.
Picture frame. Your 4-by-6-inch photo is secured between two thin acrylic pieces held together by four magnets. You can mount it on the rail or place it on a surface.
Drawer/Tray top overlays. The system includes two different decorative covers for the drawer/tray top. An acrylic overlay has corner magnets to secure photos or other memorabilia beneath it. A felt overlay has a magnetic back and can also be used as a mouse pad.
Color choices. Fresh color options and unexpected materials let you make Stoa your own. Felt overlays are available in several colors and in two designs from renowned textile designer Alexander Girard.
Cord catch. Placing cell phones, MP3 players, and other small technology units and connecting them to power sources made easy. Cords fit in the pliable notches of the cord catch, to keep them accessible and keep them from falling behind the surface. It attaches to the rail and fits into the cutout of a shelf or paper tray.
The stoa, an ancient Greek architectural form, was used to define urban spaces. The Stoa modular rail system provides a means to define your personal work space. Interesting that an 1800-year-old architectural structure has lent its name to this quintessentially 21st-century storage solution.
Stoa designer Jeff Sokalski has always enjoyed solving the problems of space and the objects that inhabit it. He designs on the basis of essential questions: What problem must be solved? What's the best solution for this? Stoa is a perfect example of his design process. With just a few components, it transforms any flat surface into an efficient, customizable, and eye-catching system of organization.
