Product Story
Sometimes only a wall will do. But a permanent wall isn't always the best or most cost-effective solution. V-Wall Movable Walls combine the structural performance of constructed walls with the versatility and cost savings of a panel systemand they're the perfect solution whenever you need floor-to-ceiling privacy.
With more than 40 years of product development and history behind it, V-Wall offers the flexibility to work with any furniture in any environment.
Privacy Anywhere
V-Wall works in any environment, with any furniture. V-Wall's STC range of 33 to 39 (depending on configuration) provides the acoustical and visual privacy typically desired in an office space.
Among V-Wall options is the classic executive office with glass wall, creating a space that's visually open but provides auditory privacy. V-Wall's two-person office design is ideal for individual tasks or mini-conferencing.
Easy and Economical
A two-person crew can reconfigure walls with minimum disruption. Single-source supply simplifies coordination, reduces the presence of trades in the work area, and minimizes interruption in occupied workspaces.
V-Wall can be installed directly over carpeting, reducing waste and labor costs. Complete product expertise and assistance is available through Herman Miller's national distribution network, and/or the five Regional Wall Service Centers.
Design Options
V-Wall is available in a variety of vinyls, fabrics, veneers and glazes. Herman Miller trims and finishes make coordination easy with all freestanding and office system solutions.
Panel modules come in standard heights of 9 and 10 feet, and widths of 24 to 30 inches. Custom widths and heights to 12 feet are also available. V-Wall offers panel and component integration with Action Office Series 1 & 2, and Ethospace.
Earth-Friendly
Unlike drywall, V-Wall is up to 99% reusable, making it the environmentally friendly alternative.
V-Wall is also Class A-rated for fire safety.

In time, Vaughan and his company created five basic wall systems with hundreds of variations and customizations for customers throughout the United States. By the 1970s Vaughan Walls was acknowledged as a leader among wall system manufacturers.
