Herman Miller Among 50 Global Companies 'Most Admired for HR'

Herman Miller, Inc., has been recognized again by Human Resource Executive magazine in its "Most Admired for HR" list of 50 global companies. Ranked 5th overall, it is the sole representative from furniture industry and the only Michigan-based company to appear on the list. Other notable brands making the top ranking include Disney, Goldman Sachs, Nike, Google, and Procter & Gamble.
Herman Miller also appeared on the "Most Admired for HR" list in 2005, 2007 and 2008. This is the company's third year to be included among the top 10.
According to the magazine, the Hay Group recalibrated its "Most Admired Companies" list for FORTUNE magazine to create the exclusive "Most Admired for HR" list, which is based on essential HR functions such as Management Quality, Product/Service Quality, People Management, and Innovation.
The "Most Admired for HR" list is available in the publication's December 2009 issue.
