Herman Miller Expands Ergonomic Lighting Offering with Luxo Alliance
June 06, 2011
Herman Miller, Inc. has expanded its offering of health-positive solutions through its Thrive Portfolio of ergonomic products with the announcement of a new alliance with Luxo. With the world's most extensive line of ergonomic and energy-efficient task lights, Luxo has been a globally recognized designer and manufacturer of lighting products for more than 75 years. All of their contract lighting solutions, including LED lights Ninety, Ovelo and Terea, are now available through Herman Miller dealers.
"We are very excited to now offer Luxo as part of the Thrive Portfolio," said Pat Sigler, Product Manager for the Thrive Portfolio. "This significantly broadens our current range of lighting solutions, particularly in LED task lighting."
Personal lighting is an important component of a healthy workspace. The right light can improve personal comfort, stimulate concentration and enhance performance. Offering a powerful combination of design, performance, and the latest technology, Luxo's ergonomic LED lighting solutions complement the existing Herman Miller Thrive lighting solutions.
Sam Gumins, President of Luxo North America added "Herman Miller Thrive and Luxo lighting together provide an even more compelling alternative for ergonomically and efficiently outfitting any workspace. This alliance truly delivers the right light as part of the whole ergonomic solution."
A full lineup of Luxo products will be featured throughout the Herman Miller showroom at the NeoCon 2011 World's Trade Fair in Chicago, June 13-15.
