Herman Miller Sells Corporately-Owned Workplace Resource-Montreal to OBI Environments

Herman Miller Inc., has announced that it will sell its corporately-owned dealership Workplace Resource Montreal to OBI Environments (OBI), formerly known as Ottawa Business Interiors, and is expected to complete the sale on March 1, 2014.
“We have a tremendous contract distribution channel and have enjoyed a long presence in the Montreal market. The opportunity of working more closely with OBI in these markets presents a tremendous opportunity to build-upon our strong base and to serve additional customers,” said Curt Pullen, Herman Miller’s President of North America. “We’re excited to have a dealer with such an outstanding reputation expand into this market. Together, Herman Miller and OBI will continue to provide inspiring, high performance spaces that will deliver tremendous value to our customers in Quebec.”
OBI is the oldest privately-owned Herman Miller dealer in Canada, and offers a comprehensive range of products and services for the office, healthcare, government, higher education, hospitality, and small business markets. OBI was founded in 1974 by Michael LeClair, and is managed today by Chris LeClair.
