New Everywhere Tables from Herman Miller: A Surface for Every Purpose
June 07, 2010
Herman Miller, Inc., is introducing a new line of tables to meet a broad range of workplace and learning space needs. Called Everywhere tables, they offer clean lines and simple aesthetics, and work in any style office space, from classic to contemporary. Available in many shapes and sizes and a wide selection of bases, tops and finishes, they offer the ultimate in versatility.
A part of Herman Miller's Desking and Tables offering, the tables were designed by Dan Grabowski to blend with any environment. Everywhere tables integrate technology and accommodate mobility and flexibility, providing people with choices when transitioning from collaborative and community spaces to personal workspaces.
"Tables are indispensible," says Grabowski. "Everywhere tables were created to elegantly fill the spaces where people spend a majority of their time. Whether used individually or as a family, Everywhere tables help minimize the visual chaos in active spaces."
Their configurations and leg features are unified in fit and finish to integrate with any environment or application, including education and training, small conferencing, height adjustability in workstations, café and lounge areas.
"Today's mobile technology means people are no longer tethered to their workstations," says Niki Ainsworth, product manager. "Everywhere tables offer a range of over 90 products that can be repurposed to suit a variety of needs and functions in many different spaces."
Everywhere tables have been designed and developed according to Herman Miller's Design for the Environment (DfE) protocol, emphasizing safe materials, recycled content and ease of disassembly. Everywhere tables contain up to 72 percent recycled content, are up to 30 percent recyclable, and have been GREENGUARD certified. They also carry a 12-year, 3-shift warranty.
The tables currently are being evaluated for McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC) "Cradle to Cradle" certification and BIFMA level certification.
