Our Print Process
Herman Miller uses a wide-format, eight-color inkjet printer using textile dyes. The screens are printed on one side of a white Multiscrim fabric that has been formulated for print. We do not print on any of the Resolve standard colors, only the white treated fabric. Our maximum print width is 54 inches.
The Multiiscrim fabric is translucent, which allows environmental factors, to affect the final color when the screens are installed. Lighting, surrounding colors, and the material behind the screens can create color shifts.
While Herman Miller has achieved a high standard of color consistency in its print process, it does not warrant color matching or color consistency. Print tests can achieve a close approximation to some uncoated Pantone values. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
