Files are configured for viewing in AutoCAD version 2004 and above, operating on Windows 2000 or later. To read Z-Viewer files (.ZVW), download Herman Miller’s free Z-Viewer software at http://www.hermanmiller.com/design-resources/3d-models-cad-drawings/z-viewer.html.
The Library provides two AutoCAD DWG files for each typical you select—a plan view and a 3D view. Also included are ZVW (Z-Viewer), SKP (SketchUp), and ZXF (from Z-Axis) files of each typical. Some typicals offer RVT (Revit project) files. The files are compressed in a single ZIP file for easy downloading. AutoCAD files are created using Herman Miller’s CAD Pack software, which provides a graphic symbol library of Herman Miller products for AutoCAD-equipped designers. CAD Pack is available free at http://www.hermanmiller.com/design-resources/3d-models-cad-drawings/cad-pack-for-north-america/download-cad-pack.html.
ZIP files are files that have been compressed to use smallest amount of memory possible. “Zipped” files are easier and more efficient to download, store, and send over the internet or by email. After downloading, you “unzip” the file to have access to the individual items contained in it. To unzip the file, you need to use WinZIP, an inexpensive Windows utility, or 7-Zip, a free program. If you don’t have WinZip or 7-Zip installed on your computer, go to http://www.winzip.com or http://www.7-zip.org/.

These are Z-Viewer files. Z-Viewer is a Herman Miller application that makes it easy for all members of a planning team to view 3D drawings of typicals and communicate about them. Z-Viewer lets team members record notes, exchange comments, and ask questions. Z-Viewer files can be emailed among team members. Download the easy-to-use Z-Viewer for free at http://www.hermanmiller.com/design-resources/3d-models-cad-drawings/z-viewer.html.
These are files exported from Herman Miller's Z-Axis software. ZXF files can be imported into AutoCAD using Herman Miller's CAD Pack application, 20-20 Technologies CAP Designer program or ProjectMatrix ProjectSymbols program. Using the import from Z-Axis feature from these applications, the typical will be redrawn with the AutoCAD symbols including product intelligence.
