		<description>That&#039;s a great film - and still carries the same mental impact even in today&#039;s IMAX theater era when we are so used to awesome special effects. It reminds me of this quote from Holmes Rolston:

&quot;The human world stands about midway between the infinitesimal and the immense.&quot;

 It&#039;s a good thing we have the metric system. Think how complicated that narrative would have become using feet, yards, acres, or miles!
