		<description>I think the paintings enhance the design of the chair rather than detracting from it. The contours of the seat and back add depth to the artwork and the art highlights the simplicity and elegance of the chair design. If I bought an Eames chair, I would definitely paint it. Maybe with little people trying to scale the interior slopes with rock climbing equipment.
