Navigating Healthcare Design 2010
Reports are in from those with Herman Miller Healthcare who attended this year’s Healthcare Design 2010 event in Las Vegas. There was a lot of enthusiasm about the products shown in our booth, including the Compass system and Nemschoff’s Dex guest chair.
The booth experience is one way we were able to provide insight into how Herman Miller Healthcare and its subsidiaries Nemschoff and Brandrud are bringing a new voice to healthcare.

I would have been interested in hearing Dr. Sternberg talk about the science of “place” in healing. It sounds like there’s always new evidence being accumulated for how our immediate environment impacts health and wellness. This is something that can definitely be incorporated into furniture design for both workplaces and healthcare settings. I guess science is catching up with Feng Shui after a few thousand years!
