Libraries are pressed for space. They will use what little they can, sell what they can&#039;t, and discard anything that doesn&#039;t sell. Understaffed locations are less likely to actually want to deal with book donations since it creates more work for the employees without adding much to the actual library selection. So, it makes sense to find a distributor who actually wants the books and will get them into the hands of readers more efficiently. The best books to donate to libraries are generally new bestsellers that you have bought, read, and don&#039;t want to keep. Those are in high demand among library readers who can&#039;t afford to buy new releases.
