Too funny about your first 5 minutes of productive work! This tool reminds me of the GoWearFit that my friends all seem to have now. They start off totally enthused with it. Then, they forget to charge it and forget to log on and enter all their meal data, then they start missing their goals. You know how the rest goes!

Gadgets are great, but there is no substitute for personal responsibility when it comes to making a lifestyle change.

Reading this blog is a perfect example of exactly the point: where does my time go?" A Facebook friend posted the link. I arrived here, read the article and am now writing a response. Not knowing about RescueTime, I tried to keep track of my activities in a Word doc and after 2 days was so frustrated with the diverse tasks and interruptions of running two home-based businesses, I gave up and went back to "doing my best", making lists of important tasks and letting myself off the hook about being more efficient. The days will pass no matter what, some more productive than others.
