<p>Herman Miller has opened a new showroom at <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&amp;q=3641+Holdrege+Avenue+Los+Angeles+ca&amp;fb=1&amp;split=1&amp;gl=us&amp;cid=1037161601274841970&amp;li=lmd" target="_blank">3641 Holdrege Avenue</a> in Los Angeles. It continues our presence in the LA design community, which began in 1949.<br />
<span id="more-1235"></span><br />
<a href="http://www.hermanmiller.com/Designers/Eames" target="_self">Charles and Ray Eames</a> never met a design challenge they didn’t like. That was certainly the case with Herman Miller’s first showroom on the West Coast, in Los Angeles. Sixty years after it opened, we are celebrating another opening—a new space located near <a href="http://www.travelandleisure.com/articles/next-stop-culver-city/1" target="_blank">Culver City’s thriving art scene</a>.</p>
<p>Beyond the vibe of the neighborhood, the new location has another advantage—it’s much easier to get to than going downtown. The space showcases a variety of our newest products. And, <a href="http://www.hmgeiger.com/index2.html" target="_blank">Geiger</a> has joined Herman Miller in this new space, which provides a broader set of solutions in one location.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1245" title="Los Angeles National Design Center" src="http://www.hermanmiller.com/discover/wp-content/uploads/la3.jpg" alt="la3" width="480" height="245" /><br />
The experience of the showroom is built around welcoming guests and showing how our products and services solve business issues. Sometimes the “showing” is physical, as with the range of product applications in the space. Other times it’s digital, using a robust set of technology tools to communicate.</p>
<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-1242" title="Los Angeles National Design Center" src="http://www.hermanmiller.com/discover/wp-content/uploads/la2.jpg" alt="la2" width="480" height="245" /><br />
However the communication happens, it’s key to our continued presence in the Los Angeles design community, a presence that began over 60 years ago.</p>
