That earned me some funny looks in the hall and queries about whether I'm a "biker". At my last job the Director of Engineering would have an absolute fit if he found anyone using a space heaters. It wasn't because of the fire hazard. It was because they tripped the breakers and he had to go deal with that since no one else had access. Layering clothing is definitely the simplest answer!
