I concur. Nicely put. Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom with so many.

May I add,

1 that I like to do something each day which will improve someone’s life without them noticing.

2 I have 15 seconds to solve a client concern [or problem] or to say I can take care of that in a way that will work for you. If I take more than 15 seconds the concern is never quite forgotten.

3 I’m always ready to immediately concede or donate 15% of a fee to good will or problem solving. Hence I need to plan on it from the beginning of every project.

Great list. I am especially fond of “Ixnay on the naysayers”. Being proactive in that effort is the key. If you surround yourself with positive influencers, your energy and creativity are almost guaranteed to increase. Thank you for sharing.

Good advice. Easy to get paranoid when things don’t go the way you plan. And building the relationships is so key. Hard to do, but so necessary.

Recently read Steve Pressfield’s The War of Art. Very helpful in keeping it going.

Aiming for developing ways to monetize my web work in 2011.
