Air-Chairs & the Goli Bosi Design Hostel

We were charmed a few weeks ago when we featured Croatia’s Goli Bosi Design Hostel in our weekly Top Ten post — especially by its use of Jasper Morrison’s Magis Air-Chairs and Magis Air-Tables. The space smartly capitalizes on the versatility of Morrison’s lightweight plastic furnishings, using them in a variety of settings, both indoors and out. Here’s a deeper look at the bold, bright hostel (which might just inspire another backpacking trip through Europe).

An outdoor eating and meeting plaza features white Magis Air-Tables with Magis Air-Chairs in white with arms.

Black and white Magis Air-Chairs without arms stand at attention in a multipurpose room.

An indoor restaurant shows off the hostel’s black, white, and yellow theme using black Magis Air-Chairs, white Magis Air-Tables, and gold flooring.

These Magis Air-Tables and Magis Air-Chairs are as comfortable outside as they are in.
Nice hotel. BTW, it would be nice if you mentioned that the hotel is in a lovely city called Split. Croatia is a region of former Yugoslavia. Not many folks know where Split is so it would be nice for the added info.
