I think it will increase your productivity dramatically... right up until the point where you run out of oxygen and suffocate.

I like it. Yes, it isn't completely functional but I'm not sure it was intended to be. The smart and interesting parts of this idea could easily be rolled into a functional space.

Visually I like it, and the "green" behind the idea is cool, but I feel like it may get a bit claustrophobic in the space. Seems like we come to the age old form before or after function question. That all said, I like how the room feels like it grows out of the desk and reaches out to the light like a plant does when near a window. Very cool, I would be very willing to work out my claustrophobia issues so that I could work in there.

There comes a point where ergonomics wins over comfort. Unless your work can be contained atop a desk - thiere is limited space for essential home office equipment e.g. file cabinet, printer etc. Granted these items can be stationed outside the cocoon but every time you open the door you let go of all of that heat. I need space and ton's of it.

In regards to the Modular Home office, that is just plain awkward. I would think it would be uncomfortable to have a "pod" sitting in the middle of your home. In my opinion it would be more of an obstacle than an office. It might to appeal to others but not for me.
