I’m heading out to Michigan today for a week-long visit at Herman Miller. I’m based in Los Angeles so it’s always good to visit the place where it all happens. I’ll be staying at Marigold Lodge so expect a full report on that historic lake house. I’ll also be visiting the archives and spending time with the makers of some of our favorite pieces. Lots of good stories!

I had the privilege of being a guest at Merigold lodge, touring the three Herman Miller sites; therefore enjoying the Herman Miller experience. I was so impressed not only by the furniture and products they provide to make our life a safe and better place, but their philosophy and commitment to their employees is something you have to experience to believe! Thanks to all the employees at Herman Miller from the furniture sites, as well as the Marigold lodge. I came away from this visit truely wanting to make my workplace a holistic, calm, healing environment for our patients, their families, and a staff that looks forward to come to work everyday.
