Herman Miller on Extreme Makeover
We are really excited to be part of this Sunday’s episode of Extreme Makeover. As you can see from these photos we trucked in quite a bit of furniture! You’ll have to wait til Sunday to see how it all comes together but we can tell you to keep your eye out for the Eames walnut stool, Yves Behar’s Leaf light and the Nelson platform bench (there’s actually a long list – which you can check out here. I don’t think you’ll have trouble spotting!) I’m fascinated to see how they have folded our pieces into what looks like a pretty traditional house.

This was a lot of fun to see. I love when people/organizations not only give, but the give the best of what they have. It was fund to see Nelson, Eames, and Behar strewn about this well deserving families house.
I help organize a family fair that reaches out to families of all walks of life and gives the best of what can be given. We give professional quality hair cuts to kids, family portraits, as well as school supplies etc., but enough about that. I bring that up becuase it is encouraging to see big companies like Herman Miller doing it, it encourages me to dream bigger and see thousands of people served by what I help plan.
Thanks HM for thinking of not only making our spaces more beautiful with your furniture, but also our world a better place to live and for think of people such as this family. Way to go!
