I'm distracted by the huge stinking ashtray, powerstrip and empty paper cups...

Facing a blank wall seems stifling to me. Meh, to each his own, I guess?

For me the interesting thing about this workspace is its lack of flash - it is certainly not 'done'. Andrew is a prolific writer and has found himself in a particular space that on the surface may not be appealing. But he's happy with it, he's productive there and he's thankful for the space. I appreciated his approach. And I know it's not the usual Lifework fare but I thought our readers would find his words interesting ... and the space provocative!

But... Why is this "ideal" workplace worth sharing?
