You may already have heard of Anupam Mishra of the Gandhi Peace Foundation in New Delhi, India who has done extensive research on the ancient traditional water harvesting systems in low rainfall areas of Rajasthan. Here is the link to his excellent talk on TED.com. He has also published many books on this subject.

Very interesting. The Stepwells in western India are amazing!
I live on SaltSpring Island, B.C., Canada . A rain forest and many residences with their own gardens and lots of farming. As an interior designer and a lover of landscape and gardening I would love to see a company like yours, Greywater Corps on our island. I will look it up.
