It is built in a post and beam style with a. It is ecclectic but simple and cozy; the styles are Japanese and log cabin mixed in with Persian carpets and African wood. The forest is visible and transparent in places as windows to the exterior and hopefully a tree trunk and a rock or two is built around and in it. Deep window sills and a patio that is defiant of the cliff. The space is compartmentalized but open and connected. It feels like air and earth together and makes me feel very productive and peaceful and yet grounded. I might even have an oyster room where the finishes gleam... An element of surprise. :). So where is this location is the next question, and when am I going to do it?! ;) Ive dreamt of a house that is perched on a cliff by a deep ravine and waterfall.
