I recently picked up two Herman miller vintage pieces. One looks to be a #4650 5 drawer unit from the basic case series and one is a similar 5 drawer case with a door and shelf arrangement to the right side of the piece. Can you provide a reference number for this piece. Also both pieces are missing the black wooden feet. Are they available as a replacement part?

In helping locate replacement hardware, check out humemodern.com I have never worked with them, but they do list replacement thin edge hardware on their website. They could possibly be able to recreate the pulls you need. Hope this helps.

On this series, the location of the door pull on the cabinet looks wrong, please check that. Also I think you should offer it with the ebony finish bench with wood legs, or Birch finish bench with wood legs as was originally intended for this Basic Series. The wire legs on the bench were made for more of a table use, and very few were ever out in the market compared to the wood legs. If you are going for authentic, go all the way.
Hi Clark
This is from Gregg Vander Kooi, our Classics Product Manager:

"I don't have a source yet for our production of these, but one of our retailers - Daniel Donnelly - who sells a lot of vintage BCS products, might have a source for reproduced service parts. http://www.danieldonnelly.com/n_contact.htm

I've been looking up and down for replacement finger pulls (1", j-shape) for the vintage George Nelson cabinets/drawers that I grew up with. I'd appreciate any suggestions about where I could locate these pulls for purchase or who might be able to fabricate new ones. I have a few of the original (pot-metal?) pulls that are still intact, but I'll need about three dozen replacement pieces to make this otherwise beautiful vintage furniture whole again.
