After 40 years of working in an outer-office in Chicago, San Francisco, the Napa Valley, and Birmingham (Alabama), I am moving to Portland, Oregon, in early 2010 and will be keeping my same Birmingham book-publishing-company job but operating from some yet-to-be-determined space in my yet-to-be-determined Portland home/townhouse/condo. All I know now is that it won't be a tent! But creating my home office within my new four walls is uppermost in my mind. I trust this blogger's style and knowledge implicitly and will religiously check her advice. Perfect timing!
