I like the tips from Geeksugar. However, if people are going to buy bamboo products, they need to know how to identify good quality materials. Bamboo is very fast-growing, but some companies still harvest it too early. If you can dent a piece of bamboo with your thumbnail, it is too young. You’ll end up wearing out flooring and other items made from cheap bamboo too soon – defeating the purpose of trying to be more sustainable. High quality bamboo is harder and will last quite a while under normal wear conditions.
