This means that after sleeping, eating, showering, etc... that your phone is located nearby in a consistent place. I really doubt that anyone keeps their phone with himself/herself "all" of the time ("I keep my phone with me all the time"). Of course, I think having a German crafted, oiled oak box for storing my phone is a little over the top as far as needing a landing zone, but it works as well as any other container/bowl/box and looks good. I keep my phone with me all the time, if I set it down it is always nearby so I can answer quickly.
