“We’ve been talking a lot about great iPad cases lately — we’re all pretty excited for them arrive in the mail, but we certainly cannot forget about outfitting our laptops in stylish duds too. If you’re not planning on getting an iPad, then you wouldn’t mind spending a few extra bucks on making sure you’re walking around with the coolest laptop portfolio we’ve seen.
We’re really happy with our matte black Incase laptop case, but, we certainly wouldn’t deny this gem if someone was offering to give it to us. We would buy it ourselves, but you see, the price tag is a little steep — some what justifiably. The Kenton Sorenson Leather Laptop Portfolio is handmade in Wisconsin and then hand conditioned with vegetables. The leather will slowly turn a golden brown throughout years of use — we’re thinking that’s worth the $225 price tag.
The portfolio stays closed with Kenton’s signature knot enclosure. The great thing about the unique closure is that you can carry around a magazine or newspaper if the inside is already stuffed full. There’s plenty of room on the inside for a 15″ laptop, and there’s also a smaller pocket on the inside flap for a wallet or phone. This is definitely one of the nicest cases we’ve seen — wouldn’t you look super cool carrying this around?
