Wayne Vaughan established Vaughan Walls in the late 1950s in order to pursue his idea of developing a wall system that could be assembled and re-assembled using the then-new technology of gypsum wallboard. In time, Vaughan and his company created five basic wall systems with hundreds of variations and customizations for customers throughout the United States. By the 1970s Vaughan Walls was acknowledged as a leader among wall system manufacturers.
