A Japanese-influenced informal gathering point

Kotatsu Table

Designed by Ayako Takase and Cutter Hutton, this Japanese-influenced collaboration surface serves as an informal gathering point. It is a low table with a large top and has a shelf for holding meeting materials.

“We both still have unique design voices, so there are times we have to work to convince each other of something, but the end result is a more interesting harmony. The outcome is a stronger design.”
