Geiger Expands Crosshatch Seating Family by EOOS with Crosshatch Settee

Today, Geiger introduces the Crosshatch Settee by EOOS, the latest extension of the Crosshatch Seating Family, which made its debut at NeoCon 2014 with the launch of the Crosshatch Chair. The Crosshatch Settee shares the original Crosshatch Chair’s distinctive silhouette, created by a lattice of hand-strung parachute cords, but offers enough room to comfortably seat up to two people.

People tend to be drawn to spaces that support casual collaboration in the workplace, which often become the most popular settings in the office. Trends point to the increased prominence of spaces that encourage collaboration, even while the typical office footprint shrinks. The Crosshatch Settee is an ideal addition to these working lounges and can be used across an office landscape to support individual or collaborative work.

The Crosshatch Settee reflects Geiger’s approach to industrialized craft. In addition to contributing to the settee’s striking visual appeal, the parachute cords provide structure for its floating seat and gently curved wood frame. The Crosshatch Settee is available in a selection of natural woods in more than 30 finishes, a wide variety of upholstery options, and varying cord colors to help it blend in or stand out across a range of interiors.

With list pricing starting at $3,915, the Crosshatch Settee will be orderable through Geiger and Herman Miller’s North American contract dealer network—beginning summer 2019.
