Herman Miller provides a variety of digital tools that help customers plan and visualize great places to work. These tools make planning easier, more efficient, and more accurate. They also enhance communication among all the people involved in planning so complex processes can run more smoothly.
3D Models
To help people visualize a space plan, Herman Miller offers 3D graphics files for many of our freestanding products. The files are in MAX, DWG, and 3DS formats. For users of Autodesk products, the models are i-drop enabled.
Typicals Library
To give you a head start in planning, the Typicals Library houses a comprehensive collection of digital drawings that illustrate "typical" workstation clusters. You can browse based on cost, size, and application. The typicals you select are provided in convenient formats and gathered in a single ZIP file for easy downloading.
CAD Pack
CAD Pack software provides a graphic symbol library of Herman Miller products for AutoCAD-equipped designers. CAD Pack lets them design single workstations or entire floor plans and generate a bill of materials in SIF (standard information file) format for electronic ordering. CAD Pack is available for both North America and Asia product offerings.
Z-Viewer
Z-Viewer lets everyone in the planning process visualize and evaluate proposed designs in 3D. It also lets planning team members exchange comments, share ideas, and ask questions. Z-Viewer drawings are created in Z-Axis, Herman Miller's proprietary design and specification tool.
