Herman Miller will return as a Corporate Partner to the Innovations 2007 conference, from March 4-7, 2007, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
Sponsored by the League for Innovation in the Community College and hosted by the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, Innovations 2007 will mark the 10th anniversary of the conference. The event highlights the most innovative, thought-provoking, and cutting-edge programs, leaders, and trendsetters in the community college field.
During the three-day conference, Herman Miller will support the e-mail lab and the wireless lounge with a mix of systems workstations and classic mid-century modern American design. Both spaces will be designed to create a comfortable, accommodating space for conference guests and exhibitors to connect and refresh during the event.
Herman Miller also is sponsoring two key sessions, including "Using Scenario Planning to See the Future of Learning," and a panel discussion entitled, "Creating Outcome-Based Learning Environments."
Herman Miller researches trends in higher education and works closely with faculty, administrators, and educators to address problems related to interior spaces and, ultimately, to enrich the teaching and learning experience. The company's knowledge of space planning, along with its problem-solving, consultative approach, result in strong partnerships with higher education customers.
Innovations 2007 is an opportunity for colleagues around the world to showcase their model programs, to share lessons learned, and to look to the future by experiencing a wide array of learning opportunities.
