A modern classic. The Foray chair's slim, elegant profile harmonizes with the refined aesthetic of today's executive workspaces.
Striking look. The design combines industrial materials molded into organic forms with finely detailed natural materials, like fabrics and leathers.
Distinctive back. Foray's signature feature is the back's aluminum oval, which illuminates the chair's graceful curves.

A balanced ride. With Herman Miller's Harmonic tilt technology, Foray allows easy and natural movement, regardless of the sitter's size.
Comfortable sitting. The patented Super Seat suspension system distributes pressure evenly so a person can sit all day without fatigue.
Form-fitting back. Contours at the back's base keep the spine properly aligned during upright and forward sitting.
Ergonomic adjustments. Seat height adjusts 4 1/2 inches; the seat may also have a forward pitch of 5.6 degrees; T-arms adjust in a 4-inch range; each T-arm also adjusts laterally to increase or decrease the space between arms by up to 2 inches.
Aesthetic Range
Finish choices. Foray is offered in metallic silver, black umber, and polished aluminum to complement the most-specified base building and furniture metal finishes.
Textiles and leathers. Ten fabric patterns; seven leathers from Geiger, Herman Miller, and Edelman Leather.
Environmental Responsibility
Strict design criteria. Foray was designed according to the McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry Cradle-to-Cradle protocol for safe chemical content, easy disassembly, minimal packaging, and minimal waste.
93 percent recyclable. Recycled content is 49 percent.
Meets standards. Foray is GREENGUARD certified as a low-emitting product.
