Magis Déjà-vu Stool

When his Déjà-vu stools were first shown, Naoto Fukasawa was upset because people sat on them. Another designer pointed out that this was a good thing, and the concept of “super normal”—pieces that “add something to the atmosphere of our homes and that we’d miss the most if they disappeared”—was born.

Simple, elemental, comfortable—the Déjà-vu stool is fashioned from extruded aluminum.

“Things that possess a quality to shake us back to our senses are ‘Super Normal.’”
